Stor vikt l\u00e4ggs vid bevarande av v\u00e4xt och djurliv. Den befintliga spillvattenledningen under \u00e5n var gammal och i akut behov av utbyte. Ledningen kr\u00e4vde dessutom regelbunden renspolning med spolbil, d\u00e5 ledningen var f\u00f6rlagd som dykarledning st\u00e4ndigt slammade igen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Att anl\u00e4gga en traditionell pumpstation i detta k\u00e4nsliga omr\u00e5de var inte \u00f6nskv\u00e4rt d\u00e5 det hade kr\u00e4vts ett br\u00e4ddavlopp anslutet till vattendraget. Detta inneb\u00e4r att spillvatten kan rinna ut i vattendraget vid str\u00f6mbortfall, vilket inte skulle godk\u00e4nnas av milj\u00f6myndigheter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ist\u00e4llet har man valt att f\u00f6rl\u00e4gga en ny ledning med hj\u00e4lp av styrd borrning under \u00e5n i den k\u00e4nsliga naturmarken. PPS-l\u00f6sningen inneb\u00e4r att ingen aktiv pumpning kr\u00e4vs, d\u00e5 vattnet rinner av sig sj\u00e4lvt med hj\u00e4lp av gravitationen.
