A PPS consists of a siphon pipeline, a pumping unit (a compressed air-driven mammoth pump), a liquid reservoir, and a technical cabinet that houses the compressor, air tank, and control system.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

PPS functions as a siphon pipeline \u2014 but without the typical disadvantages of one.<\/p>\n

  • Energy consumption is minimal<\/b>, as cleaning occurs for only about one minute per day<\/li>\n
  • Power outages have no impact<\/b>, since the system automatically resumes operation once power is restored<\/li>\n
  • The system cannot overflow<\/b><\/li>\n
  • A PPS is not affected by ground settlement<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
