Passivpump System AB was born out of the design and engineering work associated with trenchless technology at the specialist engineering firm Johan Lundberg AB.
Trenchless technology, also known as No-Dig, is an effective method with significant potential to meet the needs of utility owners through smart, environmentally sustainable and cost-efficient solutions. Johan Lundberg, who has more than 20 years of experience in trenchless pipeline construction, founded Johan Lundberg AB in 2009. Since its establishment, the company has successfully completed nearly one thousand assignments involving feasibility studies, engineering design, and construction of trenchless infrastructure projects from its office in Uppsala. Among these projects, numerous so-called self-cleaning pumping systems, what we now refer to as Passive Pump Systems, have been designed and constructed.

How can we ensure that this technology continues to evolve and serve future generations?”
These questions inspired us to take greater responsibility toward the water and wastewater industry by offering a complete solution in partnership with Johan Lundberg AB, from engineering design and pipeline installation to the construction of a sustainable, long-term system.
